PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The North Capitol Building in Salt Lake City, Utah is being built to house the Museum of Utah, a state history museum. The building is also being constructed to include office space, meeting space, and a theater.

Features of the project:

  • Museum space: The museum will showcase Utah's history, art, and culture 

  • Archives storage: The building will store the state's historic artifacts 

  • Conference rooms: The building will have space for meetings 

  • Theater: The building will have a space for performances 

  • Offices: The building will have space for work 

  • Parking Structures: The building will have two below-grade parking structures 

  • Belvedere: The building will have a belvedere at the north end that overlooks the north side
