Salt Palace Convention
Center

The Salt Palace arena, which opened in 1969, was a central location for sports and entertainment, including large-scale concerts. It served as the home for various professional and minor-league sports teams before it was replaced by the current convention center after its demolition in the 1990s.

Steel Encounters was part of the construction team on both the original construction following the demolition, as well as two subsequent improvement phases in 2001 and 2006.
