Ae’o is a 41 story luxury residential high rise with a large Whole Foods Market and retail spaces at the street level, 6 floors of parking, and two amenities levels.

A LEED Silver design, the structure is post tensioned concrete and utilizes more than 6,000 customized concrete embedment's for the anchoring of Steel Encounters’ supplied systems.

A strategy for excessive building tolerances and long term deflection of post tension concrete structures was developed over the preconstruction period.

Steel Encounters provided significant coordination of products from Germany, Columbia, Mexico, and the U.S. Mainland to deliver and install in downtown Honolulu in an eight month time-frame.
