Spy Hop is building a new media arts center in the Central Ninth neighborhood! Spy Hop would have been my second home if it had existed in the 70's. Thankfully, it exists now.
Spy Hop’s mission is to mentor young people in the digital media arts to help them find their voice, tell their stories, and be empowered to affect positive change in their lives, their communities, and the world.
As a gathering and creative space for youth, they are able to build relationships, share their creative voices and be a part of something BIG!
Steel Encounters is proud to be involved in the project. Special acoustic glazing on the interior, storefront, curtain wall, and other cladding systems will support the center for many years to come.
